The City Council has proclaimed the week of May 18 – 24 as Public Works week and invites you to join them in recognizing its Public Works employees. The Public Works Department includes the streets and drainage division, water distribution system, and the sewer collection, treatment and reclaimed water division. (The City’s sewer division is operated and managed by Veolia Water NA). Their work is an integral part of this City and is essential to our community and our quality of life. We depend on their hard work and dedication for our health, safety and comfort.
National Public Works Week is a celebration of the tens of thousands of men and women in North America who provide and maintain the infrastructure and services collectively known as public works.
