Lien Search Requests

The Building Departments coordinates lien search requests with utilities and code enforcement.  Information is provided on utility service, which includes water, sewer and waste collection, as well as assessments, liens, code violations, and active or expired permits.  

All requests must be submitted in writing and can be done through e-mail or fax.  A standard Lien Search Request Form is provided, but is not required.  Requests are completed with 3 to 5 business days.  There is a $25 fee for each search conducted.  The fee is not collected at the time the search is completed but is invoiced at the end of each month.  Please be sure you include the name and address on each written request so that completed searches can be invoiced.
