Once you have chosen the date for your garage, yard or moving sale, your next step should be to register at West Melbourne's Request Tracker website and create a user id and password. Then all you have to do is submit your event for posting to the Garage Sale Calendar and begin receiving your free publicity.
Events posted Monday through Thursday will appear on the Garage Sale Calendar the next day. Events posted Friday through Sunday will appear on the Garage Sale Calendar on the following Monday. Events posted on holidays will appear on the next business day.

City Code Sec. 78-10(3) Garage, yard and carport sales. No more than two signs per garage, carport, or yard sale shall be displayed, and such signs shall be displayed, and such signs shall be displayed, and such signs shall be limited to six square feet in area, provided that the signs are posted no more than two days prior to the sale and are removed no later than the conclusion of the sale. Such signs shall not be posted on fences or utility poles.
