The Building Departments coordinates lien search requests with utilities and code enforcement. Information is provided on utility service, which includes water, sewer and waste collection, as well as assessments, liens, code violations, and active or expired permits.
All requests must be submitted in writing and can be done through email or fax. A standard Lien Search Request Form (PDF) is provided, but is not required. Requests are completed with three to five business days. There is a $25 fee for each address researched.
The fee is not collected at the time the search is completed but is invoiced at the end of each month. Please be sure you include the name and address on each written request so that completed searches can be invoiced.
